Summer Panto Spectacular Heads To Tik-Tok Land

THE cast of Blackburn’s biggest summer panto is preparing to take audiences on a journey through Tik-Tok Land.

Pop Up Entertainment is putting on a spectacular show for the whole family at the Blackburn Empire Theater which opens on Sunday and runs until next Thursday.

Alice’s Adventures in Tik-Tok Land is based on Lewis Carroll’s classic tale but given a modern twist. When Alice attends the Queen of Hearts party and ends up going viral, it’s a mess!

Amy Morris, Managing Director of Pop Up Entertainment, said, “It’s going to be unlike anything you’ve seen before. As a Blackburn-based company, we’re thrilled to bring this show to Empire with such a great cast.

“It will be the party of a lifetime and the perfect show to take the family over the summer holidays. It’s got everything you’d expect from a traditional panto—singing, dancing, laughing, and lots of audience participation—and it sounds amazing.

Pop Entertainment has been involved in some major productions including the Christmas shows at the Trafford Centre, the switching on of the Blackburn Christmas lights and the production of shows for major cruise lines.

The director and musical director of Alice in Tik-Tok Land is Liz Long who starred in Les Misérables in the West End and also on a UK tour of Fiddler on the Roof.

The cast includes Ellie Crosby as Alice; Keith Braley Marshall as the Mad Hatter; Tessa Durkin as Bunny Eilish and Sarah Bailey as the Queen of Hearts.
